April 25th, 2008 It’s my Mom’s Birthday!
Yey! lol, yeah it’s her birthday today. Well she’s not here so nothing eventful will happen I guess. Unless I decide to throw a party even if the celebrant is missing. hehe.. I already greeted her, I was teasing her that she’s getting way older! haha, Well not really tho, she just turned 48 today and she doesn’t look that old anyways.
I love my mom. I don’t know if this is a natural mom thing but even if she’s away, she’s always at the right timing to call me when I’m not on my best mood. And instantly I feel better. At times that I screwed up big time, she doesn’t get tired of pushing me to go on and never give up. She doesn’t throw that things I’ve done wrong and at times I’m keeping something and I’m just too scared to tell her, she’ll come up to me and tell me she knew there’s something wrong and I have nothing to be afraid of.
I’m very fortunate to have a mom like her. Who lost her husband at the age of 29 yet opted to prioritize her daughters and not herself. Call me selfish but I’m just happy that my mom didn’t marry after my father died.
