Lucid Creativity

March 19th, 2008 American Idol S7T11

So it was Beatles night (again). I was expecting a more entertaining show than last week but most of them bore me to death. I love the show that’s why I watch it like 5 times every episode and more when I download it on my computer. Being a fan of the show for almost 5 seasons, the show and how the judges are going to react on the performance are quite predictable for me, not that it’s a bad thing. I think on the contestants point of view, that might be an advantage.

This episode, I really like Syesha Mercado’s performance. She sang “Yesterday” and her voice is just so pure. I really love it. Another perf that I like is Carly Smithson, I really like her since the audition part of the show. Her voice is just so powerful. Love it!

There’s also a filipina on the AI this season. She’s Ramiele Malubay. I like her voice too because she got this big voice. But I’m not an audience to play bias. I won’t fave someone just because we share the same country. I believe in her but as the show goes on every week, she is becoming more and more unnoticeable. Her performance and song choices have been from interesting to quite average. She got a beautiful face btw but week by week I find her too cute for my own taste that I got sick of it. lol

Now I don’t know who’s going to be eliminated. I agree with Simon that AI should really get back to being a Talest contest rather than a Popularity contest. It’s sickening to think that they are voting for the wrong reason. My bottom three are: Kristy Lee Cook, Ramiele Malubay, Michael Johns
